In a country with a protracted transition and many social and institutional anomalies, space has undoubtedly been created for the “vegetation” of many unprofessional people, who, in the absence of a coherent value system, have installed the logic of extortion and manipulation in institutions. Over time, the institutions in North Macedonia have been guided by this bizarre logic of party serviles, but also of self-proclaimed professionals who, in the name of the “greatness” of the profession and by manipulating precisely tribal professions, have plunged into criminality that is now appearing in many cases.

Exactly, in the line of this degeneration in the health system, of the deep implication of politics and oligarchies is also the tragic case in the modular hospital in Tetovo, revealed by an IRL research.
These two cases and many other degenerations reported by citizens testify to a deep decomposition of the health system, which comes as a result of the self-proclaimed “greatness” of this profession by individuals who seek through the sensitivity that this field covers to create the inviolability of wrongdoing theirs. This field remains the most sensitive because it is directly related to human life, while anomalies and mismanagement also appear in the entire institutional system of North Macedonia.
Beyond politics, political struggles, it is the last time for those who govern to think deeply about these realities, about these layered incriminations, which cannot be overcome either with political opportunities or improvisations.
Institutions, the entire institutional system cannot be corrected by improvisations, on the contrary, real well-thought-out structural reforms, professional and ethical people are needed to change the way of functioning. Otherwise, we run the risk that abnormality will become normality, while improvisational logic will turn into a dominant logic for the future as well.
To begin with clarifying these cases and to gradually install a new system of values that respects professional dignity, ethics and commitment. Any other path means continued apathy and permanent degeneration.
