The possibility of reconfiguring the parliamentary majority has been discussed for more than three months, while in narrow political circles it was clear that it will go in that direction. Although with statements often contradicting each other, sometimes leaving a path to believe in speculations, the leaders of the main parties set themselves the task of preparing the public opinion and their supporters for this political action, which is being concretized in the parliament these days. This mental massage was intended to soften the most vocal militants who were and are drawn to conflict among themselves for their leaders and parties until shortly before this became clear, often with abuse and insults from the most the heavy ones. For many, it seemed impossible to include the Alliance for Albanians in the government together with DUI – the main opponent in the Albanian camp and SDSM – the main party of the coalition with which AA ( Aliance for Albanians)had a failed relationship, betrayal, which had turned into sworn enemies. However, in politics, just as there are no eternal friends, there are also no eternal enemies, but eternal interests.
Things have taken the general shape and the first echelon, that of the ministers, is already in the parliamentary procedure. It was expected that the opposition, especially the Macedonian one led by VMRO-DPMNE, will do its best to make it difficult for them to be elected, and thus also to operate. This deliberate extension, although it is already clear that the numbers needed to vote for the reconstruction of the government are certain, has two purposes: first, it is a psychological game and at the same time instrumentalization for party propaganda, and second, there is a hope small and hidden that things may not work out at the last minute. Meanwhile, the directorates and agencies with which ASH will run are more or less known, this time this division was a little easier because in fact, as expected, with the exchange of the smaller partner, it was known that they would also be transferred the institutions they led, but here the DUI’s “largeness” also included the functionaries of the internal faction known as the Fire Group. Now, ASH is at the critical stage of power sharing within its party structure, and this is always followed by discontent because there is no power that can satisfy the ambitions and self-esteem of the party structures.

Within DUI, the culmination of internal clashes has not yet been reached, which will be visible even to the wider public, while it seems that Ali Ahmeti is closing all paths for reunification with the internal faction, calculating mainly with the lists of joint “Front for Europe” together with AA, and possibly together with SDSM in the next parliamentary elections. Here, what currently seems to be falling into the trap is the VMRO-DPMNE, which is returning again to its anti-Albanian narrative, focusing on the “oppression and injustice” done to Macedonians by the Albanians through the government. great that they have received in this government. This will lead to its self-isolation not only internationally but also widely, which is actually the whole strategy of the “Front for Europe”.
