ABOUT “POLITICS” AND OTHER DEMONS

The philosopher Emil Ciaran says that among the persecuted you can recruit the greatest persecutor. In our case, the biggest censors and lynchpins can be found precisely in the political “pilgrims”, party members who want to legitimize their loyalty in another political environment.

Election campaigns evoke emotions, political passions. Political parties turn on the engines of propaganda. It has always been so. Politics lives with these passions. Political parties demand electoral mobilization, demanding as much as possible to “collect” political points for the day of the electoral decision. Moreover, that is perfectly normal; it is part of democratic life.
Of course, in environments where democracies are still unconsolidated in competing political entities, frustrations also appear, parapolitical impatience that makes the space of democracy rude, and sometimes-aggressive totalitarian tones can be observed.
It is these rude tones that are justified by all kinds of moralizations, but behind which are always hidden the petty interests of failed individuals that create those unnecessary irritations in the square of politics and democratic competition.

These forms of extreme militancy, fueled by hateful hatred for the other as an “enemy” to be annihilated, have been present since the beginning of democracy in the Albanian political space, but not only. That politics can sometimes be cruel is out of the question. There have been cases when this aggressive political passion has spread even within families and extreme ideological attitudes have produced disordered relationships within friends, family and society in general.
It is a fact that politics lives on from antagonisms, but not from those antagonisms that produce resentment, poisons and low destructive blows that can hurt a human being.
Of course, within this time of painful transition already has a substantial political emancipation, but there are also those primary forms that create tension, which create a tense and often persecuting environment.

And, in all this situation, the parties are paradoxically more emancipated than any anonymous people who, wanting to create egocentric protagonist, go so far as to take on the role of censors and lynching against all that does not coincide with their anger, with “poisons”. Shakespearean of their dogma.
Democracy is a field of debate and is constituted by the bearing ideologies of which are political parties, civil society, independent spheres and other social groups and actors.
The philosopher Emil Ciaran says that in persecution you can recruit the greatest persecutor. In our case, the biggest censors and lynchpins can be found precisely in political “pilgrims”, party members who want to legitimize their loyalty in another political environment.
Democracy is neither dogma nor lynching. Democracy is neither a belief nor an absolute truth, but rather a dynamic of truths thrown into the square of argumentative and cultured debate.
Politics in no way can be imagined without the human dimension and without the games of freedom as defined by a philosopher.

We are within the meaning of freedom when we are within the tolerant and non-aggressive opposition to thinking differently, to a different worldview on things.
We are on the verge of a campaign and there is a possibility that the recurrence will happen again. Life is a little longer than an election campaign and an aggressive and lynching dogma. However, political parties have their own accounts of political and sometimes irrational political passions. But we ordinary mortals, as has always been the case, must understand that after elections, after egocentric storms comes a period of “peace” that is “amortized” again by the same political actors.
See you in a good health; we have so much to tell!
